This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which payments may be refunded or adjusted.
1. General Policy
All payments made to Mahek Broadband for internet or OTT services are non-refundable, except in cases where:
- The payment was made in error or duplicated, or
- Service was not activated due to technical reasons at our end.
Once a connection is activated and service begins, no refund will be provided for the current billing cycle or subscription period.
2. Installation & Setup Charges
Installation, activation, and equipment (router or ONT) setup charges are non-refundable, as these costs are incurred during service provisioning.
However, if Mahek Broadband fails to install the service due to network unavailability, a full refund of the installation payment will be issued.
3. Prepaid Plans
All Mahek Broadband plans are prepaid.
Once the plan is activated and bandwidth allocated, the payment cannot be refunded or transferred.
Users may choose to upgrade or renew an existing plan at any time, but unused days or balance will not be refunded.
4. Service Cancellation
If a user wishes to discontinue service, they must:
- Notify our support team at least 7 days before the renewal date, and
- Return any equipment provided by Mahek Broadband (router/ONT) in good condition.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed only after deducting:
- Installation or activation charges,
- Router/device costs (if not returned), and
- Usage charges for the active period.
5. Duplicate or Failed Transactions
In case of duplicate payments or failed online transactions:
- The user must inform us via email at support@mahekbroadband.in or WhatsApp within 7 working days.
- Verified duplicate payments will be refunded or adjusted in the next billing cycle within 7–10 business days.
6. Refund Process
All approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during the transaction (bank, UPI, or online gateway).
Refund timelines may vary based on bank or payment processor policies.
7. No Refund Conditions
Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:
- Service interruption due to power failure, router issue, or local network problem
- Speed variation due to high usage or technical maintenance
- Customer’s relocation to a non-serviceable area
- Violation of Mahek Broadband’s Terms of Service or misuse of connection
